The Xoff Files
Commentary on local, state, national, world and inter-galactic politics by Bill Christofferson, who often uses Xofferson or Xoff to shorten his 14-letter last name.
Christofferson, a recovered journalist and ex-political reporter, has been a Democratic strategist and consultant for 20 years. He lives in Milwaukee.
He is the author of a political biography, The Man From Clear Lake: Earth Day Founder Sen. Gaylord Nelson, published by the University of Wisconsin Press.

Free Will
The Forrest Gump of modern global politics, Brian Christianson worked alongside the Nicaraguan Contras and other anti-communist freedom fighters during the Reagan Era. A proponent of the free market and free will, he advised Boris Yeltsin's nascent democrats in 1990s Russia. Christianson was most recently spotted with a box of chocolates in a mosque in Casablanca.
His dog-eared passport rests in a top dresser drawer at his waterside home on Lake Koshkonong -- a not-so-clear lake in Southern Wisconsin.
